Don't know whether you've seen this video of Leah Manaema talking about indigeneity - I've watched it about a dozen times, there's so much good in there - but in particular, it got me thinking about bloodlines and ancestors, and wishing that we used indigenous ways of introducing ourselves instead of the old "what do you do?"
